A fine example of a Shropshire oak turned leg dresser base dating from the very early 1700s. Original throughout with the quality feature of turned legs front and back. The handles are very old replacements, Superb colour, This type of dresser base or side server were rare when made as they generally graced the manor houses and rich farms of the period.
